Welcome to Mehervaan. These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit our website or purchase products from us. By placing an order with Mehervaan, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.

Mehervaan is an online retailer offering fragrances, jewellery, gift sets and related products.

2. Our Products

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible.

Product images are provided for illustration and reference. Colours, packaging, presentation and other minor details may appear slightly different depending on your device, photography, manufacturer packaging updates or other factors.

For fragrances, scent descriptions, fragrance families, notes, longevity, sillage, occasion and similar information are provided as guidance. Fragrance perception and performance can vary between individuals and may be affected by factors such as skin type, environment and application.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

3. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve that item.

Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed. If we are unable to fulfil an item, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund for the unavailable item.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.

You will receive an order confirmation using the contact information supplied during checkout.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• a product is unavailable;

• there is an obvious pricing or product information error;

• payment has not been authorised;

• we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or

• we are unable to fulfil the order.

If payment has already been taken for an order that we subsequently cancel, we will refund the relevant amount.

5. Prices and Payment

Prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.

The price payable is the price shown at checkout when your order is placed, together with any applicable delivery charges clearly shown before payment.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before fulfilling the affected item and give you the opportunity to purchase it at the correct price or cancel it for a refund.

6. Delivery

Our delivery arrangements, estimated delivery times, charges and other shipping information are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Some Mehervaan products may be dispatched from different locations or directly by one of our fulfilment partners. As a result, products purchased within the same order may occasionally arrive in separate parcels and at different times.

Where an order is sent in more than one parcel, this does not mean that an item is missing from your order.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly agree otherwise with you.

7. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

Our detailed rules and instructions for cancellations, returns and refunds are contained in our Refund Policy.

Nothing in our Refund Policy or these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes rights that you have under applicable UK consumer law.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at help@mehervaan.com with your order details.

Where appropriate, we may ask for photographs or other information to help us understand the issue.

Your legal rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected by these Terms.

9. Fragrance and Jewellery Care

Customers should follow any instructions, warnings or care information supplied with a product.

Fragrances should be used and stored appropriately and kept away from heat, flames and other ignition sources where applicable.

Jewellery should be cared for appropriately. Exposure to water, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals and other substances may affect the appearance or condition of some jewellery depending on its materials.

10. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Mehervaan may offer discount codes, promotional offers or other incentives.

Unless otherwise stated:

• promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;

• discount codes must be entered correctly at checkout;

• promotions may have specific eligibility requirements, expiry dates or product exclusions; and

• only one promotional code may be used per order where our checkout does not permit codes to be combined.

Any specific terms displayed with a promotion will apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions.

We may withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, but this will not affect orders already validly placed using that promotion.

11. Intellectual Property

The Mehervaan name, branding, website design, original graphics, written content and other original material created for our website belong to Mehervaan or are used with appropriate permission.

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, commercially exploit or use our original website content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, product names and brand names displayed on our website remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Website Use

You must not knowingly misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software or use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

We may temporarily restrict access to some or all of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.

If you are purchasing products as a consumer, the products sold through Mehervaan are intended for personal and domestic use. We are not responsible for business losses arising from consumer purchases to the extent permitted by law.
